Respect

RESPECT IS IN OUR DNA.

This is a private community, and visitors are welcome when respecting our properties and the rights of our residents.

Anyone using Cumberland Mountain Retreat facilities, lakes or services are required to be members in good standing or their guest.

Motor boats are not allowed under any circumstances. Our beautiful lakes are considered to be recreational, and the views are outstanding throughout the Retreat.

We stock the lake from time to time. Fishing is strictly regulated, and allowed for members in good standing ONLY. Otherwise, THEFT is occurring which will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

No recreational or practice shooting is permitted. Keep your guns concealed and closeted at all times.

Do not drag broken vehicles or items on the roads, or create damage to the roads. Long trailers and heavy equipment are not allowed without permission.

Our “easements” are for the use of our community, and do not belong to the public.

If you make a mess, please clean it up. Respect your neighbors and you will be respected.

See the Bylaws for more details. You may need to ask for the pass code. Copies are also available at the Cumberland County Courthouse.
